1. How to Login my cPanel Account?
If you have an active hosting order from us, make sure that you are using our nameservers then there are 02 methods to open hosting control panel. First is to open domain name with /cpanel i.e (mydomain-name.com/cpanel) this will open your control panel login page, use your hosting login details to open it.
Second way is to access our portal at (xoftmade.com/support), after login to portal go to Services section, open your service then click (Login to cPanel) button. This way no further password is needed to open hosting.
2. How to Check Nameservers of my Hosting?
Login to your account on our portal (https://www.xoftmade.com/support) after login your account, go to services section, click on your desire hosting product, on next page you will see a section for nameservers at left hand side.
3. How to Change Nameservers in my Domain?
Login to your account at (https://www.xoftmade.com/support) and go to Domains section, here you will see the list of your domains. Each domain will have a arrow sign at its right side in the row. Click that arrow and select (Manage Nameservers) there you can change your nameservers. (Shown in below image)
4. How to create an Email Account?
Login to your account at (https://www.xoftmade.com/support) and go to Services Section, there you will see a list of your hosting accounts, click on a hosting account where you want to create email. On that page you will few options (Login to cPanel) at left side bar OR (Email Accounts) Accounts, both ways you have to go in Email Accounts Section to create new email id. Or there is a shortcut to instantly create an email id on the same page. (All options are shown in below image)
5. Outlook / Mobile Email Configurations?
Our Email servers require authentication, so make sure your to use proper authentication before using email service from any other platform.
IMAP Configurations:
Incoming / Outgoing Mail Server: mydomain.com
Incoming Port: 993 – SSL ON
Outgoing Port: 465 – SSL ON
POP Configurations:
Incoming / Outgoing Mail Server: mydomain.com
Incoming Port: 995 – SSL ON
Outgoing Port: 465 – SSL ON
6. How to change cPanel Password?
Login to your cPanel account then go extreme top right corner and click on a profile icon then click on (Password & Security) On that new page you have to enter your old password + enter new password to change your cPanel password. (Shown in below Image)
7. How to change Email account Password?
Login to your webmail account by (domainname.com/webmail) and from your dash board make sure that you are in Webmail Home. On webmail home you can see option named (Password & Security) on that option you can change your email account password. (Shown in below image)
8. How to add custom dns record in my domain?
If you are using our hosting then login to your cPanel account and find option (Zone Editor) in zone editor you have to click on Manage button on your desire domain, this will show all dns records of that domain and you can modify or can add new records too. (Shown in below image)
9. What is Forbidden Error on my website?
If you just purchased hosting from us and you are watching a forbidden page on your website, it means there is no website on it or your index file (Default File) is missing. Please upload your website or index file to see actual content. Due to security purpose we don’t show directory listing thats why you see this Forbidden page which only means there is no content to show publicly.
